Many of the experiments performed in our laboratory are made possible by UND undergraduate students. Depending on availability of openings, undergraduates interested in research experience are given the opportunity to work within the lab for school credit or as payed laboratory technicians. Long-term commitment to science is encouraged for students interested in joining our team. If you are interested in team-based learning, and would like to make a personal investment in important research, feel free to contact us with an inquery of position availability.
Undergraduate students from rural or tribal colleges are also given opportunities in our lab with the summer Research Experiences for Undergradtuates (REU) program. Funded by the National Science Foundation, this is a 10 week summer research experience for undergraduates in laboratories across the University of North Dakota, including ours in the Department of Pharmacology, Physiology & Therapeutics (PPT). For more information regarding the REU program, please visit the REU page.
Similar to the REU program, UND students are given opportunities to gain valuable lab exposure with the Research Experiences
